PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Buffalo Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, intends to consider for adoption at its regular meeting of the Board of Supervisors to be held on Wednesday February 7, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. located at Buffalo Township Municipal Building, 400 Buffalo Center Lane, Washington, PA 15301, the following ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE OF BUFFALO TOWNSHIP, WASHINGTON COUNTY, COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA, REQUIRING ALL PERSONS TO OBTAIN PERMITS PRIOR TO CONNECTING OR PAVING DRIVEWAYS TO PUBLIC ROADS OR PERFORMING EXCAVATING OR OTHER WORK ON PUBLIC ROADS; REQUIRING THE SUBMISSION OF PLANS IN COMPLIANCE WITH PENNDOT AND TOWNSHIP DESIGN REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS; PROVIDING FOR THE DISAPPROVAL OF PLANS WHERE CONNECTION OR WORK WOULD RESULT IN IMPROPER DRAINAGE AND CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS; PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT OF PERMIT FEES; AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS.

 The public is welcome to provide comments or ask questions, either by email or written correspondence.  A copy of this Ordinance may be examined by any citizen by requesting through email (supervisors@buffalotwp.com) or in writing directed to the Office of the Secretary/Treasurer of Buffalo Township, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Law Library in the Washington County Courthouse, Pennsylvania and the Observer Reporter, each day until adoption.
