Payments

Checks and Money Orders made payable to “Buffalo Township” are the only forms of acceptable payment at this time. Cash and Credit is not accepted at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Municipal Lien Letters

Municipal Lien Letter Requests cost $40 per parcel. Please note that this certification does not include water/sewage, utilities, or garbage as the Township does not provide or monitor these private services. Some trash collection companies in the Township include Waste Management, Rozner’s, Triple H, and Beck’s Refuse. For water/sewage, you may contact the Washington County Sewage Council or Pennsylvania American Water if the property has public water.  Dye Tests are not required by the Township since there is no public sewage anywhere in the Township. If a dye test is required by the financing company, please contact the Washington County Sewage Council at 724-223-0504.
