PROPOSED ORD. NO. 74 AMENDMENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of Buffalo Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, will intends to consider for adoption at a public meeting to be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at 400 Buffalo Center Lane, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301, the following Ordinance:

 AN ORDINANCE OF BUFFALO TOWNSHIP, WASHINGTON COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 74 KNOWN AS THE OIL AND GAS DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE BY REQUIRING OIL AND GAS OPERATORS AS DEFINED IN SAID ORDINANCE TO IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE TOWNSHIP OF ANY SPILL, FIRE OR OTHER VIOLATION OF ANY FEDERAL, STATE OR LOCAL LAWS OCURING AT A DRILL SITE OR IN THE TOWNSHIP AND  DELETING THE WORDS “NOT LATER THAN TWENTY-FOUR (24) HOURS” WITH THE OTHER PROVISIONS OF SAID ORDINANCE RENDERED AS IS AND PROVIDE FOR PENALTIES THEREOF.

 A copy of this Ordinance may be examined by any citizen at the Office of the Secretary/Treasurer of Buffalo Township, during regular business hours and the Law Library in the Washington County Courthouse, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and the Observer Reporter, each day until adoption.
