NOTICE TO BIDDER

Sealed proposals will be received by Buffalo Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, at
400 Buffalo Center Ln, Washington, PA 15301, until 12:00pm noon on March 6, 2024 for the
Storage Building Project. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly thereafter.

The Storage Building Project includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide
and construct a 35’ x 72’ storage building for the public works department.

Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be
accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid
price, made payable to Buffalo Township.

Bid packages are available at no cost via download from the Harshman CE Group, LLC
website at https://www.harshmanllc.com under the “bidding” tab. Hard copies are available
at the Township Engineer’s office, Harshman CE Group, LLC located at 100 Courson Hill
Road, Washington, PA 15301, upon payment of $50. Checks are to be made payable to
Harshman CE Group, LLC.
The bid envelope must be clearly marked Buffalo Township Storage Building Project.

Buffalo Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof.

Attention of bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the
prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the
Storage Building Project.

Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day.
