NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR PROPOSED ZONING MAP CHANGE
AND AMENDMENTS TO THE CURRENT
TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE
NOTICE IF HEREBY GIVEN that the Buffalo Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. at the Buffalo Township Municipal Building located at 400 Buffalo Center Lane, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301 for the purpose of accepting public comments and considering amendments to the Buffalo Township Zoning Ordinance and to the Buffalo Township Zoning Map in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. The ordinance will be amended to allow R-S, Residential Suburban, R-A, Rural Agricultural, C-I, Commercial Industrial and A-P, Airport Overlay Districts and changes. The following will be considered:
AN ORDINANCE OF BUFFALO TOWNSHIP, Washington County, Pennsylvania amending the Buffalo Township Zoning Ordinance of 1984 to establish new R-S, Residential Suburban, R-A, Rural Agricultural, C-I, Commercial Industrial and A-P, Airport Overlay Districts and set parameters thereof, as set forth in new related regulations thereof, and a new amended Zoning map.
A copy of the full text of the proposed amendment to the Buffalo Township Zoning Ordinance and the Official Zoning Map is available at the Buffalo Township Municipal Building for review at no charge. Copies of the proposed ordinance and the proposed map can be obtained at the Township Municipal Building located at 400 Buffalo Center Lane, Washington, Pennsylvania 15301 for a charge not greater than the cost thereof during normal business hours.
